  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Schedule Realism Advisor Dialog Box

The Schedule Realism Advisor provides suggestions for calibrating each activity based on a given criteria.

You can use the Realism Advisor dialog box to define whether the Advisor should calculate suggestions using schedule quality, historical performance, metrics, or fields. After the recommendations are shown, you can click the Advisor icon next to any activity grouping to implement the recommended calibration settings.

Mode

Field Description
Schedule Quality - Fuse Schedule Index This mode presents uncertainty assignments based on the Fuse Schedule Index score for each activity and activity grouping. By default, an activity with a score lower than 10% will be flagged as needing more time than planned. Conversely, an activity with a score greater than 75% will be flagged as needing less time than planned
Historical Performance (Baseline vs Current) This mode compares the baseline plan to the current schedule and looks for discrepancies in order to suggest which activities should be accelerated.
Metric Select any metric from Fuse to use as the basis for acceleration suggestions.
Field Select any field from the project to use as the basis for acceleration suggestions.

Suggestions

Use the grid to edit the percentage values and uncertainty categories.

Calculate Advice Button

Click this button to have the Schedule Realism Advisor calculate the advice. After it is complete, the recommendations are shown in the Activities view.
