Next Steps for Setting Up CBI in Your Cloud Environment

There are several items to expect when your content is imported into the cloud.

Once your content is imported into the cloud:
  • You will receive an email from Deltek Cloud Ops that your report migration has been completed and will note any issues encountered.
  • The imported content (the "For Cloud Import Only" folder) will be placed in your Company Content directory in a folder where the permissions will be set as default to Cognos Admin only.
  • Refer to the Costpoint BI Cloud Setup guide in the Costpoint Cloud Information Console (CCIC) if you are unfamiliar with the new integrated security model where you access BI (Cognos Analytics) via Costpoint and leverage the Costpoint User group setup for security and capabilities.
  • For the content that has been imported (your custom content), you will need to establish the security access in the Company Content folder. Refer to the “Managing your Company Content” Self-Paced Learning course in the Deltek Learning Zone.
  • You will need to re-establish any schedules and shortcuts that you had in your on-premise environment.
