Create Cloud AD Accounts for WIC, Development Tool and Framework Manager Access
Deltek uses a cloud active directory, referred to as AD Manager, for managing accounts that are required to authenticate into various parts of the Costpoint Cloud solution.
You can access AD Manager here.
The SaaS Customer Administrator has administrative rights to AD Manager. Deltek has created an account for the SaaS Customer Administrator in AD Manager. Deltek will contact the SaaS Customer Administrator via a phone call to provide the credentials for this account. You will use the credentials provided to you in the phone call to log into AD Manager. You must also setup 2FA for this account.
As the administrator of AD Manager, you can create new accounts for users that require access to the WIC, Development tools, and Framework Manager and assign database rights and roles to BI users. Group permissions identify what development tools, databases and BI roles the user accounts have been assigned.
Users are required to authenticate into Citrix to gain access to the WIC, Development tools, and Framework Manager. If you add a new user account in AD Manager, you should also submit the Setup Citrix Access to establish a Citrix connection for that user.
In order to access the WIC, you must submit the Web Services Development Environment service request. You must also assign group permissions to the users you intend to access the WIC.
