Consultant Progress Dashpart

Use the Consultant Progress dashpart to view the progress of the JTD and planned amounts for the consultants through today for the project.

If you are using Internet Explorer, click the dashpart title link to open Consultants Planning in Vision.

If your firm uses Vision Multicurrency, the amounts display in the project's billing currency or project currency. The currency is based on the Use Billing Currency not Project Currency option in Vision Accounting System Settings.

Field	Description
Consultant Name or Type	The consultant name associated with any charges to direct consultant or reimbursable consultant accounts displays. The consultant type shows for any charges to the consultant account types that do not have an associated consultant name. The consultant types are grouped below the consultant names. For projects with multiple Vision plans, the consultant names and consultant types are from the plans that are included in utilization.
Consultant Progress	This bar displays what percent of planned bill the current JTD charges represent and what percent of the planned bill amount remains. As indicated in the legend, the percentage of JTD and Planned amounts are color coded so that you can easily distinguish between the two. JTD: For the Consultant Name, this is the sum of all consultant-related charges on posted transactions and committed purchase orders through today divided by the total planned bill for the consultant name with the result multiplied by 100. The same type of calculation is used for consultant types where no consultant name is assigned. Planned Balance: This is the percent of planned bill that remains after determining the JTD percent. The amounts are at the selected WBS grid row. For projects with multiple Vision plans, the planned bill amount is from the plans that are included in utilization. The amount displayed in this bar will typically equal 100%; however, there may be situations where the amount is either a negative number or is greater than 100%. If there is no planned amount, the bar displays Nothing Planned. Note: When you hover over or tap a bar on the chart, a summary of the consultant's information displays.
