As plans evolve, you can shift planning dates on the Labor Planning grid work breakdown structure rows. When you shift calendar dates, your plans remain accurate and up-to-date over the course of the project life cycle.
To shift dates, you must have planned hours entered on one or more resources for the WBS row.
To shift calendar dates, complete the following steps:

Change the
Start Date for the WBS row.
Navigator asks if you want to shift the resource hours.

to use the new start date and automatically change the end date. The number of days between the new start and end dates adjusts to match the original range of dates. All associated resource hours shift to match how they were originally assigned. If there are non-working days, the resource hours shift to the next period that contains working days.

if you do not want to shift dates. If the new start date occurs before any planned values, the new date remains and the end date and planned values are not changed. You can manually adjust the end date and planned values as needed. If the new start date is after any planned values but before the end date, Navigator displays an error message.
