Variance Chart
The Variance chart on the Detail Analysis tab displays cumulative or current schedule variances, cumulative or current cost variances, and variances at completion by period.
Chart Format
By default, the Variance chart is a line chart, with a separate line for each variance. Use the Fast Change icon () to switch to a pivot table that displays the actual values for the data points and enables you to drill down to the period-by-period variances for each element.
Use the Amount and Percent options above the chart to indicate if you want the table to display variance amounts or percentages. (The Amount and Percent options only apply to this chart.)
Chart Item | Description |
---|---|

Lines | Each line plots the values for one of the variances over the range of periods.
Each data point on the line represents the cumulative or current variance amount or percentage as of that period. |
