Time Phase Analysis Chart

The Time Phase Analysis chart on the Future Forecast tab displays BCWS, EAC, ACWP, and BCWP by period through the selected period. For later periods, the chart extends the lines based on the future budget and estimated cost to complete values from the selected period's forecast data.

Chart Format

By default, the Time Phase Analysis chart is a line chart, with a separate line for each metric. Use the Fast Change icon () to switch to a table that displays the actual values for the data points.

Chart Item	Description
Horizontal axis	The horizontal axis displays the range of periods.
Vertical axis	The vertical axis displays the range of amounts.
Lines	Each line represents the change in value for one of the metrics over the range of periods. Each data point on the line represents the metric value for that period.

Chart Data

Data Item	Description
BCWS	Cumulative budgeted cost of work scheduled for each period through the selected period.
BCWP	Cumulative budgeted cost of work performed for each period through the selected period.
ACWP	Cumulative actual cost of work performed for each period through the selected period.
Future period ETC	ACWP + Sum of current estimated cost to complete values from the selected period's forecast for periods from the selected period through to completion. Extends the ACWP chart line.
Future period BCWS	BCWS + Sum of current BCWS values from the selected period's forecast for periods later than the selected period. Extends the BCWS chart line.
BAC	Budget at completion as of each period through the selected period.
EAC	Latest revised estimate (LRE) as of each period through the selected period.
