Validation Trending Chart
The Validation Trending bar chart on the Data Validation tab summarizes data validation alerts by validation type for the selected period and all prior periods.

Chart Format
The Validation Trending chart is a stacked bar chart.
| Chart Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Horizontal axis | The horizontal axis displays the period selected in Period and all prior periods. |
| Vertical axis | The vertical axis displays the range of validation alert counts for the included validation types and elements. |
| Bars | Each bar represents the total number of data validation alerts for that period for the included validation types and elements.
Each segment of the bar represents the number of data validation alerts for a specific validation type. |
Chart Data
The Validation Trending chart displays the following data for the period selected in Period and all prior periods:
| Data Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Total number of alerts | The total number of data validation alerts for all validation types for the indicated period. |
| Number of alerts for a validation type | The total number of data validation alerts for each validation type for the indicated period. |
To see the actual number of alerts for a validation type and period, position the mouse pointer on that segment of the bar. The segment information displays in a data box.
