Detail Analysis Charts and Tables
After you identify one or more elements for analysis, use the charts and tables on the Detail Analysis tab to review key wInsight values for those elements, both for the selected period and as they have changed over time.
- Views Table
The upper-left table on the Detail Analysis tab displays the data for the standard or custom wInsight view that you select in the List of Views list. The wInsight Analytics data model includes all standard and custom views that have been created in wInsight. - Performance Summary Table
The Performance Summary table on the Detail Analysis tab displays values for key wInsight Analytics data items for 6 or 12 periods up to and including the currently selected period. - CPI SPI Chart
The CPI SPI chart on the Detail Analysis tab displays cumulative or current cost performance indexes and schedule performance indexes by period. - Elements of Cost Chart
The EOC chart on the Detail Analysis tab displays the cumulative cost variance by period, broken down by element of cost. - Narratives Table
The Narratives table on the Detail Analysis tab displays, by element for the selected period, any Format 5 variance codes and the beginning text of Format 5 narratives. To display the full narrative text for an element, click the row for that element. - Bull's Eye Chart
The Bull’s-Eye chart on the Detail Analysis tab plots both cumulative cost variance percentage and cumulative schedule variance percentage as a single data point for the selected period and each of the eleven prior periods. You can also switch the charted metrics to the cumulative cost performance index and cumulative schedule performance index. - Variance Chart
The Variance chart on the Detail Analysis tab displays cumulative or current schedule variances, cumulative or current cost variances, and variances at completion by period. - Contract Information Table
The Contract Information table available from all tabs displays some basic information about the contract to provide context for the data analysis. To display the table, click Show Contract Info in the box that displays the contract and period. Click Hide Contract Info in that box to hide the table.
