Data Validation Procedures
Use the options and filters lists on the Data Validation tab to control the data that is displayed in the analytics.
- Select a Period
Use the Period drop-down list to select the period as of which you want to analyze data. The default period is the latest period for which data is available in wInsight Analytics for the currently selected contract, but you can select an earlier period. - Filter by Validation Type
You can filter the data on the Data Validation tab in wInsight Analytics – Single Project and the Data Validation and Views tab in wInsight Analytics – Multi-Project to include only elements with validation alerts for one or selected types of validation checks. - Filter by Validation Check
You can filter the data on the Data Validation tab in wInsight Analytics – Single Project and the Data Validation and Views tab in wInsight Analytics – Multi-Project to include only elements with validation alerts for one or selected validation checks. - Select Element Type
Use the Element Type list to indicate whether you want to display analytic data by element at the lowest level of the selected structure, at the control account level, or at the work package level. - Filter by Element
Use the Lowest Elements, Control Account, or Work Package list to filter the contents of the analytics based on selected elements. Which of these lists is displayed depends on your selection in Element Type. - Select a Different Contract
You can select a different contract for analysis without returning to the Master Dashboard. - Filter by Control Account Manager (CAM)
You can filter the data based on the control account manager (CAM) associated with the structure elements. - Filter Using Custom Filters from wInsight
You can apply user-defined custom filters to the analytics. The user-defined filters are filters created in wInsight and imported into wInsight Analytics along with the wInsight data. - Display Contract Information
Use the Show Contract Info button to display information about the currently selected contract.
