Use the
WBS OBS Link option to indicate if you want to bring WBS-to-OBS mapping data into the analytics data model.
Purpose
The
WBS OBS Link option controls whether or not the data load process loads WBS-to-OBS mapping information and whether or not the WBS OBS View tab is available in the Multi-Project analytics.
Initial Configuration
When you configure the wInsight Analytics module initially, select
Y (yes) if you use the WBS Mapper in wInsight Analytics to map the WBS for contracts to the OBS and want to load the mapping information into the analytics data model so that the WBS OBS View tab is available.
Select
N (no) if you do not do WBS-to-OBS mapping or, for some other reason, you do not want the WBS OBS View tab to be available. If you select
N, the WBS OBS View tab is not displayed. (It is also not displayed if you select
Y but no mapping data exists in the wInsight Analytics database.
Ongoing Administration
Normally, you do not change these settings after the initial configuration. However, you can change them at any time (for example, if you later start mapping the two structures).
