Income Statement Dashboard

The Income Statement dashboard enables you to review and analyze the data from your income statements in Costpoint. Use this dashboard to quickly gain understanding of your firm's financial condition and analyze abnormalities in the data as you close your books each month.

This dashboard takes advantage of the income statement formats you have set up in Costpoint to provide revenue and expense account balances for the current period, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date. If budget data is loaded into the data model, it also offers period, QTD, and YTD budget amounts and variances, enabling you to spot large budget variances and drill to the detail accounts to pinpoint the sources of the problem. The two line charts reveal revenue and profit trends for the current fiscal year. Each of those charts also includes a budget line to give you a quick picture of performance against budget.

  • Trended Revenue Chart
    The Trended Revenue line chart shows how revenue in the general ledger has changed over time for the current fiscal year. You can view trending for period-by-period revenue or for year-to-date revenue.
  • Trended Profit / Loss Chart
