As you use the Business Development workspace, you will perform some basic tasks that apply to more than one area of the workspace.

Use the field immediately above the opportunity, company, or contact name to locate and select the record that you want to view or edit. - Add or Change Opportunities,
Companies, and Contacts
Use the Add form for an area to add new records for that area. To enter additional information or change existing information for a record, display the record and make your changes directly on the tabs in that area. - Work with Grids
Much of the information for opportunities, companies, and contacts is entered and displayed in grids. For example, when you enter a new milestone for an opportunity, you add it to a grid that also contains all of the previously entered milestones. - Connect to GovWin IQ
If your firm has implemented integration of Deltek Resource Planning with GovWin IQ, use the My Settings dialog box to connect to GovWin IQ from Deltek Resource Planning. - Connect to Kona Business
If your firm has implemented integration of Deltek Resource Planning with Kona Business, use the My Settings dialog box to connect to Kona Business from Deltek Resource Planning. - Send a Link to a Record to Another User
You can send a link to a specific record in Deltek Resource Planning (an opportunity, for example) to a co-worker, and that person can use the link to go directly to that record.
