Change Image Dialog Box

Use the Change Image dialog box to select an image (for example, a company logo or a contact photograph), crop the image, and assign it to an opportunity, company, contact, or employee.

Location

To display the Change Image dialog box, complete the following steps:
  1. In the Opportunities, Companies, or Contacts area, or on the Employee Card dialog box, display the record to which you want to assign an image.
  2. Click the existing image.

If your security role does not have access rights to update the record, you cannot change the image. You also cannot change the image for an inactive or closed opportunity, an inactive or terminated employee, or an inactive company or contact.

Field Description
Original Image When you upload an image or select it from the image library, it displays in Original Image along with a cropping frame. Deltek Resource Planning automatically crops and scales the image, and displays the results in Cropped Image. If you want to crop the image differently, do either or both of the following in Original Image:
  • Click inside the existing cropping frame and drag the frame to position it over the part of the image that you want to include.
  • Click and drag one or more of the "handles" on the corners and sides of the cropping frame to expand or contract the area included.
Cropped Image Cropped Image displays the image as it will appear when you assign the image to the record. If you change the location or size of the cropping frame in Original Image, the image in this area changes accordingly.
Upload To upload your own image file, click Upload, browse to and select the image file, and click Open.

Supported image file types are .GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, and .BMP.
