Set Up Access to the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

If you want to use any of the APIs to import data from other applications into Deltek Resource Planning, use the Generate Secret button under API Authorization on the Integrations tab of the Integrations & Imports area in Configuration to generate the ID and secret that your applications will use to access Deltek Resource Planning through the APIs.

To set up access to the APIs for Deltek Resource Planning, complete the following steps:

1. In the Configuration workspace, click on the left edge of the Deltek Resource Planning page to go to the Integrations & Imports area.
2. On the Integrations tab, click Generate Secret.
3. When a message asks you to confirm the action, click Generate. The client ID and client secret that your applications can use to access Deltek Resource Planning through the APIs display in the API Authorization fields.
