Configuration: Customization
Use the Customization area in the Configuration workspace to replace the default Deltek Resource Planning labels with those that are used in your firm (for example, replace the default "Subconsultant" with "Subcontractor") and to specify valid values for system fields that are used in drop-down selection lists (for example, a list of the valid opportunity stages for your firm).
If you activated the CRM module, you can also add custom fields and tabs to the Business Development workspace.
Be aware that changes to configuration settings do not immediately affect users who are logged on at the time the change is made, including the person who makes the changes. The changes only take effect for those users after they log out of Deltek Resource Planning and then log back in.
