Designing Chart Widgets

Chart widgets present information in a line, column, bar, pie, area, donut, funnel, scatter, or bubble graph. Use Chart widgets to:

  • Focus on a small number of categories
  • View how they relate to each other or how they change over time
  • Represent the data in a graphical form

For example, to focus on only the company balances, design a bar graph that displays the balances for cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and work-in-progress.
