Changing tab layout

To ensure your dashboards convey information effectively, size and position your widgets using the Layout mode. Click and drag widgets to the right size and the right place using the layout grid for guidance.

Before you begin

To change tab layout

  1. Click > to open Design mode, if needed.
  2. Click the tab you want to change.
  1. In the Tab Properties area, click Edit Layout to open Layout mode. The following icons appear in the grid:
  • - Chart widget
  • - Table or Revenue widget
  1. To enable scrolling on a widget, select Enable Scrolling.
  2. To move a widget, place the cursor over the widget. When a four-headed arrow appears, drag the widget to a new location.
  3. To resize a widget, you can:
  • Place the cursor on the edge of the widget. When a two-headed arrow appears, drag the edge to increase or decrease the size.
  • For Table widgets, you can click Height: to change the table height to Unlimited. A height of Unlimited means the height can increase to a maximum of 500 rows for a desktop device and 100 rows for a mobile device.
  • For table widgets, you can click Width to change the table width to Unlimited.

When Unlimited is selected for the width, the widget will dynamically expand based on the information displayed in the widget.

  1. To freeze the widget heading, ensure the Enable Scroll option is selected and Widget Height is set to Unlimited.
  2. When finished, click one of the following to:
  • Save your changes and return to Design mode.
  • Discard your changes and return to Design mode.
