Managing Project Element Contents
Manage project properties, performance requirements, articles, and paragraphs of a project element to determine the contents of your project specifications.
The element form of the project workspace serves as a facility for managing the contents of a project element. The availability and degree of modification vary with each element, property, or paragraph. On the Project Properties tab, you can view and update an element's project properties and access controls for the element form contents.
Specpoint retains the modifications that you make to a project element's properties and content items as long as the element is in the project, whether active or inactive. When you remove an element from a project, you permanently discard all your modifications.
Specpoint's design automation makes changes to a project's articles and paragraphs based on the changes that you make to related element contents. For example, when you inactivate a paragraph, Specpoint inactivates all the paragraph's subparagraphs. This ensures that you do not unintentionally create unparented paragraphs and subparagraphs. This also makes it easier for you to modify content in your project element and maintain its adherence to the content hierarchy and set outline levels.
