Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Show or Hide Shared Properties

Show shared properties on the element form to display paragraphs, including related contents, that the product type shares with its family. Hide these properties to view only paragraphs that are unique to the product type.

To show or hide shared properties on the element form:

  1. In the Project Elements pane of the project workspace, select an added product type.
    An added product type displays in green.
  2. Click to show the workspace side panel.
  3. In the workspace side panel, click (Project Properties) to display the Project Properties tab.
  4. On the Project Properties tab, click Show Shared Properties to toggle the visibility of all shared properties on the element form.
