Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Shared Property

This property is a paragraph/property that belongs under multiple family or section elements and/or product type elements. Use a shared property to modify common and related contents between two or more project elements.

When you perform an action on a shared property, Specpoint updates all instances of the paragraph/property in all families, sections, and product types that share it in your project. For example, you inactivate a shared property under the Products part (element tab) of a family. Under the Products part of a product type that shares the shared property, the shared property paragraph also updates to an inactivated state.

Modifications also include selection from an option set or entries in a text field. When you select an option from a shared property, Specpoint reflects your selection in all instances of the shared property in all added project elements that shares the property in your project.
