Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Select Options from an Option Set

Select options from a paragraph's option set to specify content for your project. For product type properties, this selection aids in product selection for your project.

When you select options from an option set of a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To select options from an option set of an element's paragraph:

  1. In the Project Elements pane of the project workspace, select an added family, section, or product type.
    An added eligible element displays in green.
  2. On the element form, click one of the following tabs:
    • General
    • Products
    • Execution
  3. On your selected tab, click an article to expand it and show the paragraphs that are under it.
  4. Locate the paragraph that you want to modify and hover over that paragraph.
  5. From the paragraph's option set, select an option.
    The options display as pills/ovals. Depending on the paragraph, you can select one or multiple options.

  6. To clear a selection, click the selected option again.

    Repeat steps 2 to 6 for each paragraph for which you want to select options.

  7. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
