Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Show or Hide Inactive Content

Show the inactive articles, paragraphs, and options set items on the element form to access hidden content for review or activation. Hide inactive content items to show only active articles, paragraphs, and options set items which you can modify on the element form.

To show or hide inactive content on the element form:

  1. In the Project Elements pane of the project workspace, select an added family, section, or product type.
    An added eligible element displays in green.
  2. Click to show the workspace side panel.
  3. In the workspace side panel, click (Project Properties) to display the Project Properties tab.
  4. On the Project Properties tab, click Show Inactive Content to toggle the visibility of the inactive content on the element form.
