Modify the
project properties of an active element in the active project such as its assigned team member and state. These modifications apply on a project level, which means that you set properties for the project element only for its instance in the project.
Before you can modify the
project properties of an element, ensure that the element is in the project and is active.
To modify
project properties of an element in the active project:

In the Project Elements pane of the project workspace, select an added
assembly,
family,
section, or
product type.
An added eligible element displays in green.

Click
to show the workspace side panel.

In the workspace side panel, click
(Project Properties) to display the Project Properties tab.

On the
Project Properties tab, in the
Assigned To field, select the project team member who is responsible for the workspace element.

In the
State field, select the state in which the element currently is.

In the
Current Level of Specification (LOS) field, select the current LOS for the element for the specific phase.

In the
Target Level of Specification (LOS) field, select the target LOS for the element for the specific phase.
As the project element progresses and requires additional level of development, increase the level of specification (LOS) to convey detail needed for the current phase.
