Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Screen Display

Upon logging in, the Deltek WorkBook screen displays your Inbox.

Profile

Your profile, located at the top of the screen, displays your photo (if available), name, location and status, position, and company.

Tap your location to display the Whereabout screen, where you update your status and location.

Status

Status displays your online presence. Possible values are:

  • Online
  • Not available

Location

Location displays the place where you are currently situated. Possible values are:

  • In office
  • Working from home
  • Business travel
  • By client

Status and location are color coded. The currently selected status and location are underlined.

Major Screens

Tap Menu to access and display the following screens:
  • Inbox: Tap to view, read, and reply to conversations.
  • Tasks: Tap to manage all of the tasks assigned to you.
  • Time Entry: Tap to view your time entries for the selected date and allocate time to a task or job.
  • Expense Entry: Tap to create and view captured out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Photo Share: Tap to upload expense entries or receipts from the Deltek WorkBookapplication to the Web-based Workbook using your mobile device.
  • Resources: Tap to view resources in your company.
  • Search: Tap to search for a job or a task.

All of these screens are available if you are an Admin, Advanced, or Basic user. If you are a Portal user, only the Inbox, Tasks, and Time Entry screens are available to you.
