Inbox

The Inbox screen displays all of your inbox items, which can be conversations, tasks, or task notifications.

Use the Inbox screen to:.

  • View, read, and reply to messages to communicate with your coworkers, team members, and clients
  • View task details
  • Approve time entries and absence entries if you are an approver

Inbox Items

Your Inbox may contain any or all of the items:
  • Conversations: Tap a conversation to display the Detail screen and reply to conversations.
  • Tasks: Tap a task to display the following tabs:
    • Conversation: Tap to display the conversation associated with the task.
    • Briefing : Tap to display additional information about the task.
    • Settings: Tap to display details of the task such as Task Name, Phase, Activity, Responsible, Start/End Dates, and Workdays.
    A next to an item indicates that it is a task. A next to an item indicates that it is a ticket. A next to an item indicates that it is a job.
  • Task Notifications: Some functionalities are limited in the mobile application version. Task notification is an example. The notification is displayed in the Inbox. However, tapping it directs you to open and complete the task in the web-based WorkBook.

If you are log into the application as an approver, time entries and absence entries also display on the Inbox screen. Tapping a time entry for approval displays the Time Entry Approval screen, while tapping an absence entry for approval displays the Absence Entry for Approval screen.

Filtering your Inbox

Tap the corresponding tab to filter the inbox items.
  • All: Tap to display all of your inbox items.
  • Unread: Tap to display all unread inbox items.
  • Favorite: Tap all inbox items tagged as Favorite.

Inbox items displayed for any of the tab selected are grouped by period of inbox entry creation (for example, Today, Last Month, Over a Month Ago, or Last Year).
