Time Entry
The Time Entry screen displays your time entries for the selected date, allows you to allocate time to a task or a job on a day, and allows you to submit absence requests.
Use the Time Entry screen to:
- View your calendar.
- Allocate time to a task or job on a day.
- Submit an entry for approval.
- Submit an absence request.
View Tasks and Calendar
The Time Entry screen displays the current date of the month and the tasks or jobs for that date.
Tap the date to display the date picker. If the date you tap already contains records, the tasks or jobs for that day display. Alternatively, tap the backward arrow or the forward arrow to change the date.
If a time entry is already allocated to the selected date, the Hours on the upper right corner of the Time Entry screen indicates the corresponding hours and minutes values.
Absence Type and Duration
Absence types can be classified as follows:
- Holiday
- Illness
- Child Illness
Note: Absence types may vary according to your organization settings.
Absence durations are classified as follows:
- Single Day: Indicates that you will be absent all day. Tap Select Date to display the calendar, tap the appropriate date, and tap OK.
- Part of Day: Indicates that you will absent for a portion of the day. Tap Select Date to display the calendar and tap the appropriate date. Tap Select Hours to display the clock and tap the appropriate values for hours and minutes.
- Period: Indicates that you will be absent for a certain period of time. Tap Select Start Date to display the calendar, tap the appropriate date, and tap OK. Tap Select End Date to display the calendar, tap the appropriate date, and tap OK.
