Use these screens to view salary information, leave details, and a summary of employee labor hours and costs activity posted to the General Ledger. The fields in this application are non-editable.
The Employee Labor Inquiry screen consists of two blocks, two group boxes, and nine subtasks. You can use these fields as follows:
The Selection Criteria block displays inquiry selection parameters. The Employee, Home Organization, Home GLC, and Fiscal Year fields display in this block; in addition, the Select Employee Status group box displays in this block. Based on your selection criteria, you can perform an inquiry to retrieve data.
Use the Account Charges subtask to view the labor costs and labor hours for account charges.
Use the Account/Organization Charges subtask to view the labor costs and hours for a specific account/organization combination. Timesheet line detail allows you to view project and pay type information.
Use the GLC Charges subtask to view the labor costs and labor hours charged to general labor categories.
Use the Labor Utilization subtask to view direct and indirect employee utilization hours.
Use the Organization Charges subtask to view the labor costs and labor hours charged to organizations.
Use the Project Charges subtask to view the labor costs and labor hours charged to projects.
Use the PLC Charges subtask to view the labor costs and labor hours charged to project labor categories.
Use the Employee Salary subtask to view data in the Employee Salary Information screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
Use the Employee Leave subtask to view data in the Employee Leave screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
The Account Charges, Account/Organization Charges, GLC Charges, Organization Charges, Project Charges, and PLC Charges screens display the Period subtask, allowing you to view the hours and amounts charged during the fiscal year period.
After you enter establish the selection criteria, you must click the Execute icon in order to populate the Inquiry Details table window. Existing record information, if available, will display in this window.
You may use these screens to view employee labor information after you execute the Post Labor program; in addition, if you added records using the Employee Labor subtask of the Enter Journal Entries screen (Accounting\Transactions\Journal Entries), you must execute the Post Journal Entries program (Accounting\Process\Post) before you view data in this screen.
Use the fields in this block to specify the employee, home organization, or home GLC.
Use the radio buttons in this group box to select your inquiry parameters.
Select this radio button to enable the Employee field.
Selecting this radio button disables the Home Organization and Home GLC fields.
Select this radio button to enable the Home Organization field.
Selecting this radio button disables the Employee and Home GLC fields.
Select this radio button to enable the Home GLC field.
Selecting this radio button disables the Employee and Home Organization fields.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the fiscal year for which you want to review employee labor history.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the employee ID .
This field is enabled if you selected the Employee radio button in the Select By group box.
After you enter the employee ID, the employee name displays in the adjacent, non-editable field.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the home organization.
This field is enabled if you selected the Home Organization radio button in the Select By group box.
After you enter the home organization, the home organization description displays in the adjacent, non-editable field.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the home GLC.
This field is enabled if you selected the Home GLC radio button in the Select By group box.
After you enter the home GLC, the home GLC description displays in the adjacent, non-editable field.
Use the checkboxes in this group box to select one or more status types to be included in your inquiry. You must select at least one of the checkboxes in this group box to view any records.
Select this checkbox to include "active" employees, as displayed in the Status field of the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
Select this checkbox to include "inactive" employees, as displayed in the Status field of the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
Select this checkbox to include employees who inactive but accruing leave, as displayed in the Status field of the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
Select this checkbox to include employees who are on (FMLA) Family Medical Leave Act leave, as displayed in the Status field of the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
You can view up to 1,000 labor lines in this table. If you do not enter data in the Employee, Home Organization, and Home GLC fields, all employee records will display, based on your selection in the Select Employee Status group box and the Fiscal Year field.
This field displays the ID that uniquely identifies the employee.
This field displays the employee name.
This field displays one of four system-generated status types for this employee.
Valid status types are "ACT" (Active), "IN" (Inactive), "IAL" (Inactive Accruing Leave), and "FML" (Family Medical Leave).
This field displays the home organization to which this employee is assigned, as displayed in the Home Org field of the Employee Salary Information screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
This field displays the home organization description.
This field displays the home GLC to which this employee is assigned, as displayed in the GLC field of the Employee Salary Information screen.
This field displays the home GLC description.
This field displays the fiscal year you entered in the Selection Criteria block.
This field displays the hours worked in the fiscal year.
This field displays the dollars earned in the fiscal year.
This field displays the hire date, as displayed in the Current Hire field in the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
This field displays the employee's last review date, as displayed in the Last field in the Review Dates group box in the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
This field displays the employee's next review date, as displayed in the Next field in the Review Dates group box in the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
