Office Master Element Form

Use this form to manage an office master family as well as work on its product types, properties, and content items.

This form contains the available properties and content items for the office master family. You can view and update these contents in the form of individual parts, articles, paragraphs, and option sets. The content items adhere to the following hierarchy:
  • Part
    • Article
      • Level 1 Paragraph
        • Level 2 Paragraph
          • Level 3 Paragraph
            • Level 4 Paragraph
              • Level 5 Paragraph

The available content items depend on the office master family. For more information, see Content Items of Office Master Elements.

The element form of the office master workspace functions similarly to element form of the project workspace. You can use both forms to modify, arrange, add, and remove articles and paragraphs. However, the office master element form enables you to work on baseline or office master content instead of project content. Use the office master element form to customize the baseline or starting articles and paragraphs of an office master family. As a member of the office master access group, all changes that you make on this form apply firm-wide when you publish the family.

In addition, as you can only use office masters for families, you cannot use this form to work on assemblies and their performance requirements.
