Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Shortcuts for the Office Master Element Form

On the element form, use these keyboard shortcuts to work on the contents of your office master elements more intuitively and efficiently.

Paragraph Shortcuts

For working with paragraphs in an office master family or product type, the following keyboard shortcuts are available:

Note: To use these shortcuts, you must place your cursor in a paragraph's text or contents.
Action Shortcut
Save paragraph CTRL+S
Add new paragraph ENTER
Move article or paragraph up ALT+SHIFT+UP
Move article or paragraph down ALT+SHIFT+DOWN
Promote paragraph SHIFT+TAB
Demote paragraph TAB
Navigate through paragraphs UP and DOWN
Add notes to specifier CTRL+ALT+S

Option Set Shortcuts

For configuring option sets in an office master family or product type, the following keyboard shortcuts are available:

Note: To use these shortcuts, you must place your cursor in a paragraph's text or contents.
Action Shortcut
Add an option/pill CTRL+ALT+P
Add a text field CTRL+ALT+T
Add a unit of measure (UOM) field CTRL+U
