Narrative Pane of the Analyze Form

The Narrative pane enables you to display and edit narratives for the IPMR/CPR Format 5 Report for selected code file codes. In addition, this pane enables you to generate a narrative score for a selected control account. Historical information is stored in the database, providing an audit trail of narratives for the project.

You can enter narratives in this pane under any of the following categories:

• Explanation
• Impact
• Corrective Action
• Monthly Summary

Field or Button	Description
Narrative Text Field	Use this field to enter or edit the narratives for the code in the selected category.
Narrative Category	Use this field to select the narrative category to display.
Generate Narrative Score	Use this button to generate the narrative score for the selected control account. The button is displayed only when the following conditions are met: Valid artificial intelligence login credentials are entered into EPM Security Administrator or PPM Administrator. The Analyze process is run for control accounts. This button is enabled only if the currently selected control account contains narratives in any of the following categories: Explanation Impact Corrective Action
Narrative Score Link	This field displays the hyperlinked narrative score generated for the selected control account. Click the hyperlink to display the Narrative Score dialog box and view the detailed narrative score summary.
Get Narrative	Click this button to display the Get Narrative dialog box, which you use to copy existing narratives. Note: When you select the Copy narrative for all categories option in this dialog box, and a narrative score has already been generated for the control account from the previous period, Cobra will also copy the narrative score to the current period.
