Perform Resource Scheduling

Before performing resource scheduling, ensure that a resource definition file containing resource availabilities is assigned to the project and that at least one activity in the project has resource requirements.

To perform resource scheduling:

1. In Open Plan Explorer, display a project in any view.
2. In the Schedule menu group of the Processes tab, click the bottom part of the Perform Resource Scheduling button, then click Options.
3. In the Resource Scheduling dialog box, select the applicable resource scheduling options.
4. Click OK.
