Create an Activity (Spreadsheet)

Use this procedure to create an activity in a spreadsheet view.

To create an activity in a spreadsheet view:

  1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in spreadsheet view.
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • Enter a new activity ID in an empty row of the Activity ID column, and double-click row.
    • Double-click the selection button of an empty row. The selection box is the left-most box in the row.
    • In the Data menu group of the Edit tab, click Add Activity.
  3. In the Activity Details dialog box, enter the information about the activity.
    Although you do not need to enter all the information at this time, each activity must have a unique ID.
  4. When you have entered as much information as you want, click Apply.
