Unlinking Activities

This procedure allows you to remove relationships between linked activities in Open Plan.

To unlink activities:

1. In Open Plan Explorer, display an activity spreadsheet, a barchart, or a network view.
2. Select linked activities or tasks from which you want to remove relationships.
3. Take one of the following actions to display the Link/Unlink Activities dialog box:
   • From the Edit tab of the Activity spreadsheet, resource or activity barchart, or network views, select Link/Unlink Activities. This option only becomes enabled when you select two or more activities.
   • From the context menu of an Activity spreadsheet, a resource or an activity barchart, or a network view, select Link/Unlink Activities.
4. Select or enter necessary information.
5. Click Unlink.
   Open Plan then removes the relationship between the selected activities.

Note: Open Plan displays all errors that occur when unlinking activities on the Link/Unlink Activities Errors dialog box after the process completes.
