Use the Project Posting submodule to specify the journal entries' entry dates as their posting dates, except for work-in-progress (WIP) entries.
To perform this procedure, you must have access to
Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under
Settings.
To use the entry dates as posting dates for journal entries:

On the main toolbar, click
Finance & Administration
.

In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click
.

If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list
above the left pane to select the company that owns the journal entries whose posting dates need to be changed to their entry dates.

In the top grid, select the appropriate journal type.

In the
Include up to this date field, enter a cut-off date.
In the bottom grid, WorkBook displays the entries for the journal type that were posted up to the cut-off date.

In the bottom grid, click the
Edit date icon
. The icon name depends on the journal type that you selected in the top grid.

On the toolbar of the bottom grid, click
Reset posting date as original date
.

In the Reset Posting Date on Expenditures dialog box, use the
From post date and
To post date fields to specify the posting period that covers the entries whose posting dates you want to change.

Click
OK.
WorkBook displays the new posting dates in the
Posting date column in the bottom grid.
