Reset Running or Stuck Project Postings

Use the Project Posting submodule to reset running or stuck project postings. This is useful in cases when the system is having problems processing an unusually large numbers of journal entries. After resetting a stuck project posting, you can post the entries in batches to avoid overloading the system.

To perform this procedure, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To reset running or stuck project postings:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration .
  2. In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click General Ledger > Project Posting.
  3. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane to select the company that owns the journal entries (project postings) whose booking you want to reset.
  4. In the top grid, click Reset running/stuck project postings .
  5. In the Select a Running Booking to Reset dialog box, select the booking that you want to reset and click OK.
