Select Dashboard to Copy

Use the Dashboard Search dialog box to select the dashboard that you want to copy.

Copying a dashboard also copies the dashparts associated with the dashboard. If the Global Search is used in the original dashboard, it will remain in use with the same options in the new dashboard.

To select a dashboard to copy:

  1. On the Dashboard toolbar, click Dashboards ยป Select Dashboard to Copy.

  2. On the Dashboard Search dialog box, use the options and filters  to select the dashboard that you want to copy.  

  3. Click Select.

  4. On the Copy Dashboard dialog box, enter a name for the new dashboard copy.

  5. Click OK. The new dashboard is added to the Navigation menu under My Dashboards.

Copying a dashboard does not copy the security settings for that dashboard. To share the dashboard that you copied with other users, use the Access Control to Dashboards dialog box.
