Access Control displays as a tab on the Projects, Workflow Type Configuration, and General Import and Export forms. In Dashboards, Dashparts, and Reports forms, it displays as a dialog box.
The Access Control grid for projects is shared with Deltek Cobra, that is, you can modify the Access Control List (ACL) from either Cobra or PM Compass.
To access the grid, on the Navigation menu, expand the Projects panel, and select Projects to display the Projects form. On the toolbar, click Form View. The General tab displays by default. Click the Access Control tab.
You can access the grid for each workflow type. To access the grid, on the Navigation menu, click Administration » Workflow Type Configuration. The Workflow Type Configuration form displays in the right pane. Click the Access Control tab.
On the Navigation menu, expand the General Import and Export panel, and select an application to display the corresponding form in the right pane. The General tab displays by default. Click the Access Control tab. You can access the Access Control grid on the Schedule Export, and Schedule Import forms.
On the Navigation menu, click Reports » <Report Category>. The Reporting form displays. On the Reports toolbar, click Access Control.
On the Navigation pane, click Dashboards and select a dashboard. The Dashboards form displays in the right pane. Take one of the following actions:
On the Dashboard toolbar, click Dashboards » Access Control To Dashboards.
On the Dashboard toolbar, click Dashparts » Access Control To Dashparts.
When you add a dashboard to the menu, you become the owner of that dashboard. As the owner, you have the option whether to display the dashboard in the My Dashboards or Public Dashboards list.
