Snapshot report
Use this report to manage day-to-day execution of your project. This report can help answer questions, such as
- How is my project progressing?
- What is available to bill?
- How much budget (hours and revenue) is left?
- Who is working on my projects?
At a glance, you can view billed, spent, and WIP amounts, as well as hours worked, to-date. You can view detail by labor, expense, and consultant. You can further drill down to view spent and billed rates.
The project contract totals on this report are derived from the totals that appear for projects on the Manage tab.
Obtaining the best results
Be sure to enter contract amounts for the project and its phases as you work on them. This gives Ajera good data at the project and phase level as long as you budget the project to the phase level. You enter and maintain contract amounts in the Project Command Center (

Producing the report
In your Project Command Center, click the Snapshot tab in the middle of the window.
If the Snapshot tab does not yet appear on the window, add it by clicking (Customize), clicking the Reports tab, and then selecting the Snapshot check box.

Cost Hrs/Unts |
The number of units. Units are measurable items associated with the cost entry, such as labor hours, blueprints, and mileage. |

The total amount of time and expense expended on the project at the billing rates/markups. Ajera determines the spent amount from the billing rate table. |

The number of units billed. These units reflect any changes made in Manage Client Invoices. This amount only appears if the detail is included on a Final client invoice. |

Billed amount |
The amount already billed for the project. This includes invoices that have a status of Final or Written-off. It does not include invoice adjustments or sales tax amounts. It includes invoice adjustments unless you select the For Time & Expense projects, this amount equals the billed value of time and expenses invoiced. For fee-type projects, this amount equals the fee billed amount. |

Date |
The date when the line item was incurred. For example, the date an employee enters time for the project. |

The rate used to bill the client for work or expenses. Ajera determines the spent rate from the billing rate table. |

The rate used to bill the client for work or expenses. Ajera determines the billing rate from the billing rate table. This rate reflects any changes made in Manage Client Invoices. This amount only appears if the detail is included on a Final client invoice. |
