Reviewing invoices from the Project Command Center

About billing review

These instructions apply only to invoices that are based on a standard invoice format or on a custom design created with the Client Invoice Designer.

To review an invoice from the Project Command Center

  1. From the > Manage menu, click Project Command Center.
  2. In the project list, select your project.
  3. Click the Invoices tab.

If your security settings give you permission, you can change the inquiry or change the cutoff date, if needed.

  1. Select the invoice you want to view and click the Preview Invoice link.
  1. Click the Show Review History button. The Billing Review History window provides a chronological record of the billing review stages for an invoice.
  1. To filter by one stage, use the Show Stage field to select the stage you want to appear in the billing review table.
  2. Click to refresh the billing review history list with any changes including new rows added, changes made in existing rows, or date/time changes.
  3. Click (Customize) and choose the columns you want to appear in the billing review table.
  4. Review the preceding rows in the table to see what earlier reviewers found. You can do the following:
  • Change the due date, attachments, contact, notes, or billing review stage of any preceding row except the auto-generated Pre-review and Final stages. Your name and the date will appear in the modification columns.
  • Delete a row if you are the author or the administrator.
  1. Review the invoice, and in the next row of the table, enter notes related to your review. You can also add attachments and select a contact, if available.
  2. When finished, select a billing review stage, enter a due date if needed, and click Save.
