Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

View Family Specification Contents for a Revit Model Element

From the model validation report, view the content items of an associated family for a Revit model element to view family-level and product type properties.

To view family specification contents for a Revit model element.

  1. Generate a model validation report.
  2. In the Specpoint Model Validation dialog box, locate the Revit model element that you want to modify.
  3. In the row of the model element, click its Specpoint Family.
    In your default browser, the project workspace opens with the family selected.
  4. In the project workspace, view contents for the associated family.
