Generate Model Validation Report
Generate the Specpoint Model Validation report to view Revit model elements and their associated Specpoint assemblies and families.
Before you generate the model validation report, you must open a Revit model with a linked Revit project.
To generate the Specpoint model validation report:
- In Revit, select an element in your model.
- On the Specpoint tab on the Revit ribbon, click Validation Schedule.

In the Filter Assemblies dialog box, select categories under any of the following disciplines:
- Architecture
- MEP
- Structure
- Click OK.
- In the Specpoint Model Validation dialog box, view the Revit model elements.

Under Include in report, select any of the following options to filter the included the
Revit model elements:
- Assigned Assembly Codes: Include Revit model elements that have a set Specpoint assembly
- Unassigned Assembly Codes: Include Revit model elements that do not have a set Specpoint assembly.
- Added Specpoint Families: Include Revit model elements that have an associated Specpoint family.
- Unadded Specpoint Families: Include Revit model elements that do not have an associated Specpoint family.
- To load recent changes to the elements in your Revit model and to the added assemblies in your linked Specpoint project, click Refresh Data.
- Click OK.
