Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Project Workspace

Use the contents of this page to work on a project and its elements.

Content Description
Project Workspace Action Bar This action bar contains options that you can use to manage a project in the project workspace.

You can also show and hide options on this action bar to either make project workspace options accessible or maximize the size of the element form.

This action bar also includes the following toolbars:
  • Show/Hide Bar: Use the options on this bar to show or hide parts of the project workspace.
  • Element Search Bar: Use the options on this bar to search for project elements in the Project Elements pane.
  • Workspace Toolbar: Use the options on this toolbar to work on your selected element and its content items on the element form.

Categories This pane enables you to select a building category and discipline in order to filter the elements in the Project Elements pane.

Project Elements This pane enables you to select project elements, such as families, sections, and product types, to add to or remove from your project.

Element Form This form enables you to manage the selected project element in the Project Elements pane as well as work on the element's available properties and content items.

Workspace Side Panel This side panel contains advanced options for working on your selected project element, such as project property management and track changes.
