Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Project Workspace Action Bar

Use this action bar to view information about a project, such as project parameters, added project elements, product listings, and project settings.

This action bar provides you with general options for managing a project and its project elements. You can also use this bar as an access point to the Product Listings window, which enables you to browse product listings and select them as recommended products, basis-of-design products, or comparable products for your project's product types. In addition, you can access the Notes window through this bar to create project notes and collaborate with other project team members.

This action bar includes the following sub-toolbars:

Option Description
Show/Hide Bar Use the options on this bar to show or hide parts of the project workspace.
Element Search Bar Use the options on this bar to search for a specific assembly, family, section, or product type in the Project Elements pane.
Quick Add Toolbar Use this toolbar to add the project elements that you selected for quick add to the project.
Note: This toolbar is available only if you selected project elements for quick add.
Workspace Toolbar Use the options on this toolbar to work on your selected project element in the Project Elements pane or your selected article or paragraph on the element form.

The project workspace action bar is available in the project workspace. On this action bar, you can also customize your view of the project workspace. You can show and hide options on this action bar to either make project workspace options and other toolbars accessible or maximize the size of the element form.
