Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Categories Pane

Use this pane to select a building category and discipline, which enable you to make further selections for project elements and product listings in your project.

Category and discipline selections that you make filter the project elements, such as assemblies, families, and product types, in the Project Elements pane. The filtering applies to both UniFormat and MasterFormat. In addition, these selections filter the available product listings in the Product Listing window.

You can show or hide this pane to either make your category and discipline selections or maximize the size of the element form. Specpoint retains the selections that you make in this pane when you exit from and return to the project workspace or when you hide and show the Categories pane.
