Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Office Master Workspace

Use the contents of this workspace to manage and modify an office master family, which your A/E firm's projects use as baseline content.

Portion Description
Office Master Workspace Action Bar This action bar contains options that you can use to manage an office master family in the office master workspace.

You can also show and hide options on this action bar to either make office master workspace options accessible or maximize the size of the office master element form.

This action bar also includes the following toolbars:
  • Show/Hide Bar: Use the options on this bar to show or hide parts of the office master workspace.
  • Element Search Bar: Use the options on this bar to search for office master elements in the MasterSpec Elements pane.
  • Workspace Toolbar: Use the options on this toolbar to work on your selected element and its content items on the element form.

MasterSpec Elements Pane This pane enables you to select MasterSpec elements, such as families and product types, which you can customize as office masters for your firm.

Element Form This form enables you to work on the available properties and content items of the selected office master element in the MasterSpec Elements pane.

Workspace Side Panel This side panel contains advanced options for working on your selected office master element, such as project property management and track changes.
