Move a Paragraph (Office Master)

Move and arrange paragraphs within an office master family or product type to prioritize specific paragraphs. This enables you to create a custom order based on your A/E firm's best practices.

When you move a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To move a paragraph:

  1. Open an office master version of a family or any of its product types in the office master workspace.
  2. On the element form of the office master workspace, click one of the following tabs:
    • General
    • Products
    • Execution
  3. On your selected tab, click an article to expand it and show the paragraphs that are under it.
  4. Under the article, locate the paragraph that you want to move and click its content/value to position your cursor.
  5. On the workspace toolbar, click any of the following options:
    Option Description Shortcut
    Move the paragraph up. ALT+SHIFT+UP
    Move the paragraph down. ALT+SHIFT+DOWN

    Click the buttons as many times as needed to move the paragraph to your desired position. You can also use the available shortcuts.

  6. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
