Move an Article (Office Master)

Move and arrange articles within an office master family or product type to prioritize specific articles. This enables you to create a custom order on the second outline level based on your A/E firm's best practices.

When you move an article, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To move an article:

  1. Open an office master version of a family or any of its product types in the office master workspace.
  2. On the element form of the office master workspace, click one of the following tabs:
    • General
    • Products
    • Execution
  3. On your selected tab, locate the article that you want to move and click its text/title to position your cursor.
  4. On the workspace toolbar, click any of the following options:
    Option Description Shortcut
    Move the article up. ALT+SHIFT+UP
    Move the article down. ALT+SHIFT+DOWN

    Click the buttons as many times as needed to move the article to your desired position. You can also use the available shortcuts.

  5. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
