Modify Paragraph Content (Office Master)

Modify paragraph content in an office master family to specify information that fit your firm-wide requirements or best practices.

When you modify a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To modify paragraph content:

  1. Open an office master version of a family or any of its product types in the office master workspace.
  2. On the element form of the office master workspace, click one of the following tabs:
    • General
    • Products
    • Execution
  3. On your selected tab, click an article to expand it and show the paragraphs that are under it.
  4. Under the article, locate the paragraph that you want to modify and click its content/value to position your cursor.
  5. Modify the paragraph as you would in a text field.
  6. To add or modify a property title, enter a new unique property title at the beginning of the paragraph before the first colon (:).
    Tip: To cancel an action, press ESC. You can use this command if you encounter an issue, such as an invalid or duplicate property title.
  7. To remove a property title, remove the property title and the first colon (:).
    Repeat steps 3 to 8 for each paragraph that you want to modify.
  8. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
