Add a New Paragraph (Office Master)

Add a new paragraph or subparagraph to add firm-wide custom content to your office master family.

When you add a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To add a new paragraph:

  1. Open an office master version of a family or any of its product types in the office master workspace.
  2. On the element form of the office master workspace, click one of the following tabs:
    • General
    • Products
    • Execution
  3. On your selected tab, click an article to expand it and show the paragraphs that are under it.
  4. Under the article, locate and hover over the paragraph after which you want to add a new paragraph.
    Tip: To add a subparagraph to a given paragraph, add a new paragraph and demote the new paragraph as a subparagraph of the given paragraph.
  5. In the paragraph, click .
    A new paragraph displays with the following placeholder: "Add your value here".
  6. Click the new paragraph and enter the paragraph content or value.
    To add a property title/key, enter a unique property title followed by a colon (:) at the beginning of the paragraph content. For example, Integral Ventilating System/Device: and Float Glass:.
    Tip: To cancel an action, press ESC. You can use this command if you encounter an issue, such as an invalid or duplicate property title.
  7. To save your changes, click a different area on the element form.
